Christmas Ramblings

Well Momma Booster and myself made our way down to Camrose and watched the kid give away his car to the winner of the lucky Kodiak raffle. His donation along with the generous sponsors who helped to pimp out the ride generated a nice $10,000 for the hockey club. After the hockey game a Christmas party broke out. Heres a pic of a potential new recruit, Michael Connolly getting chatted up by current bulldog,...... the kid. Micheal was recently selected with teammate Evan Oberg to represent the south division in the AJHL allstar game.

Later on Evan Oberg made an appearance as well. He is a UMD 2008 recruit.

Canadian Content

Found this interesting analysis done on the INCH site that I thought was fair to share hear with my Canadian reading hockey bretheren. It is interesting to note that although the British Columbia Junior Hockey League consistently boasts that it generates more NCAA Scholarships than their Alberta cousins, that these stats seem to suggest otherwise. In fact Alberta is third behind only Michigan and Minnesota for hockey product and Canada is generating close to 35% of the hockey content in the college ranks.
